Elroy Fairest of the Fair

Welcome to the Elroy Fair!

   I am Stacie Kopenhafer, the 2025-26 Fairest of the Fair, it has truly been an honor to represent our fair and the incredible community that makes it so special. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to travel to other fairs, share the story of the Elroy Fair, and connect with so many people who share the same passion for agriculture, tradition, and community. One of my favorite parts of this journey has been creating my “Fan of the Day” videos, highlighting the people who bring our fair to life, because it truly takes every volunteer, exhibitor, supporter, and fairgoer to make the Elroy Fair what it is.

   I want to thank our community for the constant support you show not only to me, but especially to the youth who are growing up through agriculture. The opportunities provided through our fair allow young people to learn responsibility, leadership, and hard work while chasing their dreams. It truly takes a community to help make those dreams possible, and the Elroy Fair continues to be a place where young exhibitors are encouraged, supported, and celebrated.

   Finally, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the Elroy Fair Board for giving me the opportunity to serve as Fairest of the Fair this past year and for their support along the way. This experience allowed me to step outside the traditional expectations of the role and represent the fair in my own way, which I am incredibly grateful for. I also want to thank the entire community for the love and encouragement you have shown me throughout my 10+ years of exhibiting at the fair. The Elroy Fair has shaped so many memories for me, and I am thankful to be part of a community that continues to support the next generation of agricultural leaders.

   From me to you---remember, even if you aren’t crowned as a Fan of the Day, as soon as you step onto the fairgrounds and your feet hit the dirt (or mud because it always rains during the Elroy Fair) you become part of what makes the Elroy Fair special!
